Photo Effect Studio Pro – Graphic design & Art frame App Reviews

This is a great photo editing app and is definately recommended :) I love editing my photos with this program and all of my friends love it too.

Im a casual photographer who wanted a simple app for tweaking my photos up before I sent them to my friends. I didnt need "photo editing" on the scale of even Photoshop Elements, just something to give the image an aesthetic bump before I release it into the network. On that score, Photo Effects Studio is a fantastic little app. Theres a truly nice selection of photo filters to visually take my pictures up a notch. (Remember once upon a time when people had to spend years learning darkroom techniques to do this sort of thing? Yeah, most people dont anymore, either.) But as a one-stop small-scale photo-tweaking app, it *desperately* needs a crop tool. As it stands, I have to take my images into Pixelmator to frame them properly, then out into PES. A crop tool is such a *basic* part of photo editng, Im genuinely shocked this doesnt have one. Even my iphone photo edit apps have a crop tool. Add a crop tool and a few more photo filter presets, and this would be a five-star app. And lets face it, four stars aint too shabby, either. At the $9.99 price point, its worth the purchase.

I love this app! I was able to use it right off the bat, and the color adjustments are very useful even if you create panoramas like I do. I will find about a lot of uses for this one.

Downloaded from the App Store. Launches fine, but when I try to open a file, I get to the file window and it crashes. Havent got a file opened to play with yet. No support on website, not even listed as a product of Everimaging. Makes me think they are either ashamed of the product or they did not create it. Feel ripped off.

Just waste of money.

I absolutely love using this software and I havent had any problems with it at all! The only part that people might find annoying is that you can really only do effects on here. There isnt an option for cropping or resizing or anything like that. However, if you use it with other photo editing programs (iPhoto, Image Tricks, etc.) it can be a really cool app to have!

While the types of vignettes are great, as soon as you apply one, it darkens the entire image even when other effects are not applied. This makes the vignettes unusable on a photo you dont want retouched in any other way.

Great app, but NEEDS A SAVE FEATURE. It is really a hassel to have to open a new image or close out the program to save the current image.

Fully recommend to look into FREE APP. Theyre way better ...

I want my money back. Current upgrade keeps crashing. Effects arent that customizable. Where is the "pro" in this app? I cant seem to locate it.

Had no problems prior to the new updates. It was working wonderfully. After updating the program with last update, though, it does not work properly. It begins with no difficulty. Then, when changing between the different functions, all of the presets do not show up. Just blue screens on the left side of the panel. You can actually click on the screens and it will change to whaterever the preset was but the presets themselves are not visable. Also, when closing the program, it freezes and in order to close the program you have to force quit and restart your system. Please fix in your next update. Thanks.

i just bought this last night and when i opened it, nothing would work. I couldnt even exit out or quit the application. i had to shut down my computer with the power button. i restarted my computer the next day hoping that it would work now and the same thing happened. Either its my computer or your program has some glitches. I think i deserve my money back if its not going to work.

sometimes when i close the application it takes forever to just close it says shutting down and does nothing i have to force quit it… aswell when i click reset all the effects dissapear and just show empty boxes please fix it

Bought this today, the program it self is a great idea, but it always freezes and then I can not close it. I too have had to shut my computer down 4 times in order to get it off the screen. Then an error message would show up.. if there werent these problems then I would have given it 5 stars.

After purchasing the program it worked just fine for a about a month or so. I was very satisfied with this program up until a couple months ago, and now I cant get it to work. I keep opening it foolishly hoping itll start working, but all I get is a box that keeps telling me the program has quit unexpectedly. Very disappointing, I want this fixed or my money back!

this app used to be great. Last updated changed everything though. I dont know what filters I am applying as everything is black now and has become a guessing game. Also will not shut down, even if you force close - I had to shut down my computer. Fix it people - I call BS

I loved this app until it started crashing everytime I edited a picture. I wish it would either be fixed ASAP or I could get a refund!! for a "pro" version, this is a joke.

bought the later version. was working great…got the update. cool new filters IF ONLY I COULD SEE THEM!!! nothing loads on filter preview bar on the left so im randomly clicking black boxes so i can see the filter effect on the photo. quitting the app doesnt work. i have to force quit almost every time. NOT. COOL. please fix! it was so awesome

This company has completely hung every customer who purchased this product with their hard earnd money out to dry! They DONT even list it on there support site, like it NEVER EXISTED and yet they still have the crooked audacity to list it here for sale when they know it no longer works or hasnt been supported since it STOPPED WORKINGin AUGUST OF LAST YEAR! Anyboby who purchassed should DEMAND A FULL REFUND! PLEASE PLEASE READ THE MOST CURRENT REVIEWS! You will see how this company treats its paying customers and ignors the issues with this UNOPERATIONAL SOFTWARE! DO NOY BUY EVER! Im contacting Apple to file a formal complaint againt this software company and to have them REMOVED FROM THE MAC APP STORE for misrepresentation and selling for money a completely unsupported product. I suggest YOU ALL DO THE SAME!
